1) How to create a new test?
To create a new test:
Click My Test -> Create Test
In the new window, you have each field for giving the Test Name, Instructions, Start Date, End Date, Duration, Pass Percentage, Webcam Access, and Description (optional).
After filling in the required details, click Save to save the newly created Test.
2) How to create a new skill?
To create a new skill:
Click Skill Library -> Create Skill
In the new window, you have two fields – Skill name and Description. You can enter the details of the Skill of your choice and save it.
After creating and saving the new Skill, you need to add questions by clicking Add more questions.
3) How to add questions?
When you successfully create a new skill, you will see the page for Add more questions option.
Click -> Add more questions.
Here you can see options such as Question Type, Answer Configuration, and Answer Explanation.
You can select the required type of questions to be created and provide the answers and explanations.
4) What are all the types of questions that can be created?
Multi Answer Selection
- Using this option, you can create multiple-choice questions. In the question field, write the question, and you can add any number of options for your answers.
- Then you can assign marks to the correct answers by giving 1 or 2 and 0 for wrong options. Finally, you can give an explanation for the answer which is optional.
- Finally, save it.
Single Answer Selection
- You can use this option for creating questions with a single correct answer. Here you can have only one right answer.
- After writing the question in the Question field, you need to provide the required options in the answer configuration field. Choose the correct choice by checking the right check box beside the question on the left side.
- Then give the required Mark for the correct option in the Mark field.
- Finally, you can give the answer explanation if necessary as it is optional.
- Finally, save it.
True or False Selection
- This option is used for creating true or false questions. Here you can have either True or False as your answer.
- Add the question in the Question field and click on the correct option, whether true or false.
- Now add the marks for the correct answer and provide an entirely optional answer explanation.
- Finally, save it.
Fill in the Blank
- This option is used for creating fill-in-the-blank questions. Here the candidate needs to type the answer.
- Add the question in the Question field and type the correct answer in the answer field.
- Add the required Mark for the answer in the Mark field, and then you can add the answer explanation if necessary as it is optional.
- Finally, save it.
5) How do I create a large number of questions?
Let’s say, you need to create around 50 questions for an assessment. The Bulk Upload option is the right choice here
You can see a download option for an Excel template when you click on the option. This template enables you to easily create ‘n’ number of questions of the required question type.
Here in this template, you can see predefined headings such as question type, question, answer, answer explanation, Mark, and options. You can choose the question type and type in the required number of questions and other options needed for creating the Test.
After completing, the Excel file can be uploaded by dragging and dropping or selecting the Excel file from your computer and then clicking Import. Now all the questions will be imported, and the questions can be viewed through the created skill from the Skill Library.
6) Can we choose different difficulty levels for skill assessment tests in SkillRobo?
Currently, we don’t have that feature but we have planned to include this in future versions.

9) How to import skills?
From the list of skills shown in the skill library, select the one you need.
Now click the Import option, which you can see in the bottom right corner over each skill.
When you click on the Import option, you will be taken to a screen where you need to select the Test for which the particular skill is to be added. For instance, if you want to add the skill C#, click Import.
If you want to test the IQ level of a candidate for the role of full-stack developer, you need to click Full Stack Developer. Then click Add Test.
Now you will be asked to provide the required number of questions in the field. Click Save.
Now the Test with the added skill can be viewed on the My Tests screen.
There is another way of importing skills into a test:
You can also click on the Skills added icon or the to easily import skills.
By clicking on this icon, you will be taken to the added skills page where you can import any more skills as per your need.
10) How to import a test from Test Library?
You can use this option when you want to import a test available from the test library.
For instance, you are hiring for a front office executive, and you can click the Import option on the bottom right corner of the particular Test.
You can hover over the top right corner to see all the skills that are added to the particular Test.
Also, the number of skills already added, the test duration, and the number of questions is displayed.
When you click Import, you will get a popup with two options: View/Edit Skills and Invite Candidates and a message “Test has been successfully imported.”
Now when you click on View/Edit Skills, you will see a window with the list of skills already added to the particular Test. If you want to add more skills, click on the Add more skills option on top.
Otherwise, you can click on View candidates which will take you to another screen.
11) How to invite/add candidates?
You can invite candidates in two ways:
* You can go to the My tests page and see an option for inviting candidates.
* Also, you can click on the view candidates option when you import a test.
Now you will be taken to a new page where you can see three sections: candidate emails, Test invitation emails, and Test completion mail.
In the candidate emails section, you can add the email ids of the list of candidates separated by a comma. Or you can also bulk import emails using the Excel template.
You can download this Excel template by clicking on the Import Emails option. You will see a popup where you can download the Excel template, fill it and upload it. This option can be used when you want to invite a large number of candidates.
After sending the invitation to the candidates, you can give the required subject in the Test invitation email and the Test completion email.
After filling in all the relevant details, click Send invitation.
